Join this introductory session to explore how Altmetric tracks online attention to research across sources such as news, policy documents, social media, and other online platforms. Through a guided walkthrough of Altmetric Explorer, participants will learn how to find and interpret attention surrounding research outputs, explore individual and institutional use cases, and identify information that may support research visibility, impact narratives, and reporting.

Speaker
Lisa Reynolds
Lisa is an experienced systems librarian and solutions specialist with a strong background in Library Services Platforms, metadata management, and research information workflows. Her career spans academic, government, and vendor environments, including roles at OCLC, the Department of Health, and the State Library of South Australia, where she specialised in systems administration and electronic resource management. At Digital Science, Lisa supports customers in optimising their use of our research information systems, ensuring reliable access to data, secure and compliant handling of research information, and alignment with institutional workflows.
Lisa holds an MA in Classics and a Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Management. She is a Certified Alma Administrator and a Certified Primo VE Administrator.
